A particularly fine example of a Neolithic long barrow of c.3800 BC, featuring a false entrance and side chambers. Excavated in 1863 and 1865, the remains of 31 people were found in the chambers. The barrow has since been restored.

Parking: Limited parking is available in the layby.  The barrow is located just over half a mile from the parking area. The walk to the barrow includes a steep climb through woodland and fields, and there is a stone stile to negotiate.

Facilties: There are toilets, shops and places to eat a short drive away in Winchcombe.
