Get Involved!

Currently we have no vacancies for practical task or monitor Volunteers along the Trail, please check back in January 2024.

Monitoring
Volunteers monitors are allocated a 2-3 mile section of a Trail, walk it once a quarter and report back any problems such as overhanging branches, bank erosion, encroaching vegetation, etc. We rely on reports from our volunteer monitors to let us know what is happening on the Trail. Their feedback helps us to respond quickly when hazards occur, keeping the trails safe and enjoyable to use. We particularly welcome volunteers who live or work locally to these sections because it minimises travel costs and carbon.
