Delicious local cheese made on the premises from old family recipes. Our cheese is made by hand the slow old-fashioned way with rich creamy Jersey milk from a local herd.
Try our moreish 'Sandsend', infused with the subtle umami flavour of kelp & dulse seaweed, or the piquant 'Regatta', a celebration for chilli lovers.
'Whitby Jet' is a traditional cheddar, individual truckles, hand fitted with snug black wax jackets, the perfect cheese for a walk along our glorious coastline.
Summer sees the annual return of St. Hild, a nettle wrapped cheese, available once the fresh green leaves have emerged along our hedgerows.
Made in small batches & naturally aged for deep wholesome flavour our cheeses are golden-hued & buttery smooth.
The Dairy & Shop are an easy walk from the Abbey, down Green Lane to St Hildas Business Centre.
