The Tally Ho is a traditional pub dating back to the 1800's where some may remember in the late 60's and early 70's, the pub was home to many miner's lamps, however a lot has changed since then.
Tessa and Tommy Barnshaw bought the Tally Ho in July 2016 and operate a traditional country style pub that offers a selection of fine real ales with guest ales appearing regularly. There are also plenty of lagers, ciders and wines to choose from. The food is home cooked, with simple lunches and generous portions.
The location of the pub is situated in the extremely picturesque top end of Knockholt which is ideal for walks along the top of the North Downs looking over the beautiful Chevening Estate. Along from there you have the iconic walk made famous by Geoffrey Chaucer in the Canterbruy Tales - Pilgrims' Way. The Tally Ho sits on large grounds comprising of a large car park, pub garden and adjacent field area. We are a dog friendly and child friend pub and welcome them at all times.
Whether you are looking for a refill on your water, or some hearty food or even tea and coffee, you can be sure you wil be greeted with a warm welcome. We hope to make your experience at the Tally Ho the best it can be.
