COURT FARM IS A LONGSTANDING, AWARD-WINNING, DIVERSIFIED & INNOVATIVE AGRIBUSINESS KNOWN FOR DOING "NO TILL" OR NO PLOUGHING.
Court Farm is becoming known as a Tourist Destination (we are a popular R&R station for Britstoppers) and for our special events like folk dancing & pop up cinema screenings. We are a picnic stop along the famous national trail, the North Downs Way, for walkers/Ramblers and mountain bikers/cyclists. People who buy from the farm shop may use our public toilet facility.
- We serve "food to go", pies, sausage rolls, Scotch Eggs, pork scratchings, hot and cold drinks (featuring Kentish fruit juice) plus a unique range of traditional English meats, game, poultry and pastries.
- Our homemade pies, "secret recipe" sausages & smoked bacon have become legendary amongst our customers! Note our Traditional English Sausages do not contain nitrates so are therefore not carcinogenic in any way.
- Our deli section includes cheese, eggs & cold sliced cooked meat with more exotic types like ox tongue, liver and haslet.
- The "Country Larder" section in our farm shop stocks high quality flour, Kentish honey & pate. We also sell jars of duck fat, mint sauce, cranberry sauce and blackcurrant jam.
- We also have inhouse grocers & gardening experts, Becky & Andy, who source fresh local & county-produced fruit and vegetables every day for you
- Families can also Bring Your Own Picnic to our lovely sheltered spot in the Open Barn with a kids' play area on bales of hay. This space can also be used for your own Pop Up Cinema event - we have the equipment for outdoor screenings & can provide the catering for your party. Bookings are required, just speak with our staff about it.
- Court Farm showcases ongoing outdoor exhibitions at its Fence Gallery, featuring arts & crafts installations, artistic metalwork and large sculptures by local artists.
- The shop has Visitor Maps for local circular walks through the heritage forest, past our stunning Blue Lake then down to the Medway River and Halling Marsh.
- The woodland trails are part of the North Downs Way that borders this ancient farm with its striking set of three converted Oast Houses (once hop drying kilns and warehouses).
- The "Oasts" are built into Court Farm's imposing Hall House which dates back to the Early Middle Ages' knight, Adam de Bavent and his agricultural estate of Halling from the 1300s.
