Take in famous historical sites of the Chilterns at a pace! A stunning 10-11 mile social run across some varied terrain including forest, chalk paths, and rolling grassy hills. You will explore some of the Chiltern Society’s famous heritage sites including Whiteleaf Cross & Brush Hill Nature reserve.
You will start in Wendover heading out up Coombe Hill, then past the Chequers and Beacon Hill and then make your way towards Whiteleaf, from there you will turn back past Brush Hill up towards Pulpit Hill and then jump on the Icknield Trail back to Wendover.
Start & finish at King and Queen Public House in Wendover where parking is available. You also have the option to enjoy lunch after your run, if you so wish. A 2 course set menu will be forwarded nearer the time and tea and coffee is included in the lunch price. If you do wish to stay for lunch, please select the appropriate ticket below.
The route is 17.2km / 10.7 miles long and will be ran at a social pace allowing time to take time the views and take photos.
The run is being lead by Tim Mills who recently ran all 134 miles of the Chiltern Way. He undertook the challenge to highlight the great work the Chiltern Society does to care for the local landscape.
