The Stroud Festival of Nature has been running since 2008. It takes place among the trees in the arboretum at the wonderful Stratford Park.

In 2017 the event attracted close to 3,000 people and 41 local and regional organisations took part. The atmosphere was superb, as families and children in particular were kept engaged and amused by an amazing array of activities and information. And all for FREE.

This year is our 10th anniversary so the Big Festival in the Park will be a celebratory extravaganza! There will be stalls, talks, entertainment and activities. There will be delicious food and drink available, but we also invite people to bring their own picnic.

A wonderful event for all ages with stalls, activities, talks, walks, food. Meet bee, bird, insect, butterfly, moth and bat experts, find out more about how to get involved with our local groups Stroud Valleys Project, Gloucestershire Wildlife and National Trust, be inspired by brilliant people doing marvellous things for our natural world. Over 50 organisations with hands-on interactive activities, singing workshops, story telling and sculpture, art and photography exhibition and more.
