Join walk leader Sue Bainbridge to celebrate the launch of Middleton in Teesdale 'Walkers are Welcome'. This launch walk will be a gentle climb through the beautiful woods of Hudeshope to the hamlet of Snaisgill, with a return route to the village over pastures with outstanding views for so little effort of Hudeshope, Teesdale and Lunedale, and finishing with a stroll along the banks of the River Tees.
Meet upstairs at the Tees’pot from 10.30 for an 11.00 start. The walk will finish at approximately 13.00 and the Tees’pot has kindly offered a 10% discount on food/drinks after the walk for any participants who wish to stay on for refreshments.
This celebration launch walk is free to attend. Voluntary contributions of £1 are welcome on the day to help cover the cost of Middleton Walkers are Welcome overheads - please give donations to the walk leader.
Unfortunately we are unable to accept unaccompanied children or dogs on this walk. Please park in the Bridge Street car park in Middleton.
This event is organised jointly by Middleton in Teesdale Walkers are Welcome and the Friends of the North Pennines, as part of the North Pennines Walking Festival.
