Join Prof. David Evans to explore the area around Kirkcarrion and its ice age past.

Our route will take us up Kirkcarrion and then down to Laithkirk, under the viaduct and then along the footpath from the east end of the viaduct to the overlook point on Eller Beck. We will return to Middleton along the railway line. Note that some of the walk may be muddy, even in summer.

This event is part of the North Pennines Walking Festival.
