Egham Regatta was founded in 1909 & is still the only regatta on the River Thames for rowing skiffing & punting. The regatta is close to Runnymede meadows.The regatta is one of the largest sporting events in Runnymede, attracting young rowers from across southern England.A busy racing schedule is anticipated involving a wide selection of junior sculling crews all conducted from a charming location close to the Runnymede Pleasure Grounds.
The Organising Committee are pleased to announce that Egham “International” Regatta resumes its traditional 600m course from upstream of Bell Weir Lock to the finish adjacent Wraysbury Skiff & Punting Club.
