Back by popular demand, the fabulous Cavalry of Heroes return to Sudeley Castle to put on an amazing display of heroic action with their joust shows!

King Henry VIII will be joined by ladies of his court to oversee the event and give his approval.

To warm up his majesty and the crowd, we will also have a fantastic falconry flight display and as well as having the chance to see the birds resting before and after their performances.

Join us for what will be another memorable event at the castle this season.

11am & 2pm – Falconry Display
11:30am & 2:30pm – Joust Display
12pm – an audience with Henry VIII and his wives

Parking: Free visitor car park next to the Visitor Centre with a designated disabled car park available near castle. WCs: Disabled WC near the Visitor Centre and in the Terrace Café Visitor Centre & Coffee Shop: Wheelchair accessible Gardens: Circular route around gardens is wheelchair accessible although some visitors may require assistance from their companion. Paths are loose gravel or grassed Exhibition: Upper floors of the exhibition areas are unsuitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues Wheelchairs: Two manual wheelchairs are available at the Visitor Centre, please phone 01242 604244 to pre-book Health & Safety Advice: This is an ancient building. In the gardens and grounds there are uneven surfaces, steep terraces, deep water features, steep steps, non-edible plants, low branches and slippery surfaces in wet weather. Please take care. Inside the castle there are also steep stone steps, uneven and slippery floors, other steps not immediately obvious and low doorways. Children must be accompanied and supervised at all times. Dogs: Regrettably no dogs are allowed other than service dogs Coaches/Large Vehicles: Due to a height and weight restricted main entrance, we ask that all coaches and large vehicles enter through our ‘Exit’ gate. From Winchcombe’s High Street, turn into Rushley Lane and at the end of the road you’ll find our gate is opposite you to the right of the lodge
