Chepstow Walking Festival is  firmly established on the walkers calendar and celebrates the stunning landscape and rich heritage of the Lower Wye Valley and beyond. The exciting programme of 36 guided walks with several fringe events walks are for most abilities and range between 2 and 13 miles. Walk leaders either live or work in the area and there is nothing like local knowledge to take you to places that are less frequented but equally beautiful and interesting.  Highlights this year inlcude Rob Dingle Trail Officer for Offa's Dyke Path leading the last section of the trail back to Sedbury Cliffs.  A walk around the Romanvillage of Caerwent with Dr Mark Lewis Senior Curator at the Roman Museum Caerleon. David Morgan Chair of Long Distance Walkers Association leading the final stage to his newly devisedMonmouthshire Way, acircular trail starting at Chepstow through the old county of Monmouthshire  plus much much more. Fringe events include a map reading workshop and stargazing evening with the Usk Astronomincal Society. 

Included in the ticket price is transport and free parking in Chepstow were applicable.
