Capture a sense of the historic Ridgeway whilst developing your observation and drawing skills. Take inspiration from famous local artists, the landscape and some of its historic artefacts and build a sense of connection to the Ridgeway though this fun and friendly art journaling workshop, led by artist Jo Beal. No previous experience needed, just bring a sketchbook, pens and pencils.

The workshop will run 2-5pm. Starting at St Dunstan's exhibiting work entered into the Swire Ridgeway Art Prize competition, there will then be a short, leisurely walk round the village to gather ideas outdoors and some time will then be spent in the historic church.

£12 per person. Maximum group size 12.

Advance booking essential. Email ridgeway@oxfordshire.gov.uk to book your place(s) and to make your payment.

How to get to the workshop: please park along Mill Lane and follow pedestrian signs to walk the short distance to the church (there is no parking near the church). Monks Risborough train station is a short walk away and there are regular buses between High Wycombe and Aylesbury along the main road nearby.

Thanks to St Dunstan's for hosting the workshop.
