We have stylishly designed, created and built The Hut ourselves, with care and attention to detail to ensure beauty and function in every detail. A haven to relax and escape from the modern world. During your stay you will no doubt also meet our friendly retriever, kitten, cockerel and hens!
Together, we have encapsulated our vision of simple living.
Sheltering in a magical, peaceful setting in a secluded corner of our garden beside a small stream with wild brown trout, damsel flies, mayflies and the occasional glimpse of an iridescent kingfisher.
Two lovely pubs, a cafe & village shop a short stroll away. Goodwood Revival, Glorious Goodwood, Festival of Speed a 20 minute drive. Well behaved dogs also welcome.
The modern hut is a spacious 5m by 2.4m (18ft by 8ft) furnished with a daybed which converts into a comfortable king size bed with storage, kitchenette providing all kitchen essentials, en-suite shower room with powerful hot water shower, hand basin, flushing loo, heated towel rail and mirror. A light and airy private space overlooking the stream and a wild meadow field, where you are immersed in nature and may see deer, foxes and badgers. Equipped with wine glasses, tumblers, plates, bowls, mugs and cutlery. There is a fridge with freezer compartment, kettle and induction hob. A hamper of delicious breakfast goodies (free-range eggs from our hens, croissants, bread, fruit and yoghurt) will be provided on arrival. Further hampers can be requested to order. In warmer weather sit beside the stream, or there is a fold-down table and chairs within the hut. Comfortable and cosy all year round with sheep’s wool insulation, heating, hot water bottles and warm blankets. Stylish touches with fresh flowers, sumptuously soft towels and beautiful striped bed linen.
