Aylesford Priory is home to a community of Carmelite friars.  The Friars (to use it's traditional name) is three miles north west of Maidstone on the River Medway.  It is a popular centre of pilgrimage, while its guesthouse offers accommodation for individuals, families and groups.  The Friars is a blend of medieval and modern and its chapels contain some outstanding modern works of art.  The ceramics created by Adam Kossowski are especially noteworthy, as are the carvings by MIchael Clark and Philip Lindsey Clark.

The guesthouse can accommodate up to 80 people in single or twin rooms.  We welcome individuals and groups coming for retreats or quiet time.

The Friars is a well established conference venue with a conference centre sating 120 and two sydicate rooms plus lounge/bar.  There is a further suite of two rooms and 6 other meeting rooms taking between 2-80 people.  We welcome religious groups, educational courses and business groups.
