Dandy Dinmont is an ideal overnight halt as we are just over 1.5 miles from M6 motorway (J44) or a base for visiting historic Carlisle with its Norman castle, cathedral, Tullie House Museum and award winning shopping development in the Lanes. This as well as having leisure facilities such as a theatre, cinema, sports centres, swimming pool, restaurants and coffe shops.
We are situated near the world famous Hadrian's Wall, romantic Scottish Borders and are beside the Border Reivers cycle route. The North Lakes is only 45 minutes by car.
If you like fishing, we have the rivers Eden, Esk, Liddle and Lyne on our doorstep.
Visitors are welcome to view our flower arranger's garden.
A bus stop is only 4 minutes walk away from our park, with 2 buses per hour during daytime to Carlisle.
We are now a mainly adult park with children's activities restricted.
