400 year old thatched holiday cottage in South Devon.
Overlooking quiet rolling fields in the South Hams area of South Devon, this 400 year old thatched cottage is in an area noted for its spectacular scenery. With its thick cob walls, this grade 2 listed building provides simple, comfortable and well equipped accommodation for 6 people. Heating is by a wood burning stove, an open fire and electrical heaters. Outside there is a large grassed garden and there is a private car parking area. Further afield there are some superb scenic walks along quiet Devon country footpaths, lanes and on the stunning South West Coast Path. Bigbury Bay with its magical sandy beaches is about 4 miles away, and the wonderful wild open spaces of Dartmoor are 12 miles to the north.
