The space
Shrublands Lodge is perfectly placed in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with immediate access to the famous Cotswold Way Walk. The lodge has 2 large double bedrooms with plenty of light and very high vaulted ceilings.
There are 2 large shower rooms. One of the bathrooms sits in between the 2 bedrooms and is a 'Jack & Jill' bathroom with locks on both doors allowing guests to choose between privacy or open plan living for younger families. We have a BBQ on our patio, a fridge, kettle, toaster but please note not a kitchen. We also have some good relationships with some great local Take Aways such as a sushi company and a high end dinner service. There is a gym attached to the lodge with its own entrance and basic equipment. As it is used for sports therapy and by us, we request you to book access times for the gym. Just let us know days and times in the lead up to your arrival. There are multiple parking spaces and patio area allowing for people to sit out on garden furniture and enjoy the views.

We have a decent sized gym with basic equipment such as a rowing machine, kettle bells, barbells with some plates, mats, bands and rollers. Use of the gym is allowed at pre-booked times and will be at your own risk. Please send send us days and times you would like to book before/ during your stay.
There is an option for massage therapy from my wife subject to availability. Both of us are qualified personal trainers and my wife is a level 4 massage therapist. We charge 60 pounds per hour for both services. Please get in touch for availability.
Other things to note
There is no kitchen facility so think hotel stay rather that a house however we do provide some basics such as biscuits, tea and an NESPRESSO machine. There is also a cheese board, knives and wine glasses.
We are also able to book the lodge out as single bedrooms so please get in touch if you would like to secure a discount for that.
