The Yarn Market Hotel is a friendly family-run hotel, ideally located in the medieval village of Dunster in Exmoor National Park. Dunster Castle and the West Somerset Railway are our nearest attractions.
Dunster is a "Walkers are Welcome" village and the area is perfect for walking, exploring Exmoor or just having a relaxing break. Dunster Beach on the England Coast Path is a 30 minute walk from the hotel and the South West Coast Path starts in Minehead, two miles from Dunster.
The hotel offers guided walking breaks during the year and group bookings are welcome. Maps, together with local knowledge, assist with planning your walk itinerary and a boot room and drying room is available should the weather be inclement.
The hotel is Visit Britain accredited Walkers Welcome, Cyclists Welcome, Pets Welcome
A guided walking package for the first 35 miles of the South West Coast Path, including accommodation and transport is offered each April, with other sections often available.
