Scarborough Youth Hostel, once a 17th century water mill, is set on a quiet riverside, just 1½ miles north of the town centre and only 15 minutes walk from Scalby Mills and the North Bay beach.
We are about ½ a mile from the Cleveland Way, turn right [west] just before the cliff top path narrows with Scalby Beck on your right side and Jackson's Bay on your left.
Accommodation is available in 9 shared rooms which can sleep up to 48 people or can be booked as family rooms for 4,5 or 6. We have a well equipped self catering kitchen or guests can enjoy our home cooked breakfasts and evening meals in the dining room. We are also happy to make tasty, filling packed lunches. Tea and coffee are free!
