Enjoying a delightful , elevated position, off a single track lane above the village of Peak Forest, this beautiful, cosy cottage has stunning, unrivalled views over the surrounding countryside. Adjoining the owners' property, it has been furnished to a high standard throughout and has a heavily beamed interior. A perfect base from which to explore the Peak District either by foot, car, or even horse with stabling available on site. One of the deepest Peak potholes, Eldon Hole, lies close by, as does the actors Donkey Sanctuary supported by many thespians. Nearby, the historical village of Eyam, made famous by the outbreak of the plague, is home to a museum on local history and the plague inparticular. Castleton is 4 miles, whilst the Chestnut Centre, famous for its otters and deer, Bakewell, Chatsworth House, Buxton and Matlock Bath are within easy reach. Shop 4 miles, pub less than 1 mile.
