The perfect stop-over on the Pennine Way and the Coast-to-Coast cycle route for walkers and cyclists.
We are located right next to the Pennine Way route after the long hike from Dufton over Cross Fell with all amenities in Alston town within easy walking distance. We have a large drying room and secure indoor cycle storage for up to 20 bikes. A full meal service can be provided on request or there are good self catering facilities, dining room and guests' lounge.
Overlooking the South Tyne Valley and in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Alston is England’s highest market town with steep cobbled streets surrounded by wild solitary fells and excellent cycling routes and walks.
