The shop sells fresh, seasonal and locally produced vegetables grown on the Drinkwater’s and our local associates farms. In addition to fresh vegetables, we sell local seasonal fruit, fresh flowers, locally produced milk, artisan bread, butter and provide vegetable box deliveries.

Our café serves locally made cakes and offers light lunches, barista coffee and teas. With free wifi, indoor and outdoor tables and views over the Cotswold fields, the café is the perfect place for walkers, cyclists and horse-riders to take a break.

We believe that by providing premium fresh, locally grown produce, priced competitively, we offer the best of both worlds for customers; quality and price.

We aim to support other local food producers and businesses and become the destination farm shop for the local villages, supplying fresh vegetables and produce with limited food miles and minimal packaging. Later in the year, we will offer educational tractor tours of Ebrington village and the Drinkwater’s farm, and there are plans to involve local schools with educational projects.

Situated on the edge of the village, with free parking, our farm shop and café is easily accessible for all.

We welcome walkers, cyclists, horse-riders and dog walkers to our friendly cafe. You can sit inside or outside on our patio with views over our growing fields and the beautiful Ebrington countryside. With free parking and wifi, it's the perfect place to relax, meet friends, work or take a break. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Vegetable Matters Ltd has been supported by the Cotswolds LEADER Programme in the creation of this new purpose built farm shop and cafe that will supply local villages with our own farm grown vegetables, locally sourced produce including artisan bread, local milk, eggs and Cotswold butter from local producers.  It is part funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.

The quality of the build has been recognised by Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE). On 4th October 2017 Vegetable Matters was one of the winners at the CPRE county awards scheme for its sustainable building design and community benefits.
