Take to the Trail on World Car Free Day

19th September 2019

Why not join in World Car Free day this Sunday 22 September, with a walk on the wonderful Yorkshire Wolds Way? There are sections that you can enjoy using public transport.  As a suggestion you could try our Wolds Edge walk, using the Coastliner that has a regular bus service between Leeds, York and Scarborough.  The walk is 10 miles from West Heslerton to Staxton, or there is a shorter version of 6.5 miles from West Heslerton to Ganton.  This walk is a wonderful way of enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the Yorkshire Wolds with fantastic views across the Vale of Pickering to the North York Moors.

You can see all our walks from here https://www.nationaltrailbreaks.com/en_GB/trails/yorkshire-wolds-way/custom-itinerary/ and download this one below.  Also you can get details of the bus connections using www.traveline.info
