New temporary diversion at Hayburn Wyke

Following a coastal landslide the Cleveland Way has been diverted north of Hayburn Wyke.  This is a significant slump so the diversion is likely to be in place for at least 6 months.  The diverted route has recently been revised to be a little shorter and now allows walkers to enjoy a really attractive length of beck side walking in the National Trust owned woods of Hayburn Wyke.

The diversion adds about 600 metres to this stretch of the Cleveland Way.

The diverted route is fully waymarked with temporary diversion signs.
