Celebrating our Volunteers

6th November 2014

Did you know that a great deal of the maintenance work taking place along the Cleveland Way is carried out by our fantastic volunteers?  All to keep the path in in the best possible condition, so that walkers have a superb experience.  Under the guidance of our Maintenance Ranger Andrew Carter and our National Park Volunteer Leaders, we have many different groups, both big and small!

These include our Cleveland Way Volunteers, Coasties Group, Hobs Group and now our Explorer Club.  The Explorer Club are our youngest volunteers who as families or groups are "adopting" sections of the Trail to look after and record wildlife.

Our photo shows the 1st Marston Moors Scouts who just recently cleared out drains on Carlton Bank.  Looks like they were having fun!

A big thank you to all our volunteers!
