What is the Business Membership Scheme ? 

The new National Trail business membership scheme brings you closer to your National Trail and to the people looking for somewhere to stay.

How will you benefit?

Closer contact with the people who look after the Trail

  • Contact details for the Trail manager so you know who to talk to if you have any questions
  • Contact with the Trail Management team throughout the year, including invites to business network events 
  • Occasional email newsletters keeping you up to date with key events and activities along the Trail
  • The opportunity to be listed in itineraries, apps, days out and short breaks.

More potential website visitors seeing your information

  • The official National Trail website is visited by over 1.5 million people per year – that’s a lot of people looking for somewhere to stay.
  • As a member your accommodation listing can include photos, web and email links and space to describe your accommodation to potential customers
  • If you need help with your listing we can assist with adding photos, checking your entry for typos and layout
  • If you don't want to edit your own listing we'll help you keep it up to date, ensuring your details are correct
  • If you have positive reviews on TripAdvisor we can add them to your listing.

We maintain the accuracy of the website by removing any entries that aren't kept up to date. Joining the scheme means you never need worry about losing your place on the website.

Your accommodation could be seen by the 2 million who follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

  • If you offer something special we’ll promote your business through our Twitter and Facebook accounts
  • If you use social media we’ll follow you and retweet or share your National Trail posts
  • We share good news from Trail visitors. Good quotes from customers or photos are always welcome. If we share them, we'll credit you and link to your website or social media

And:

  • When you sign up we’ll send you a free copy of the official guidebook* for your local Trail and a 'Proudly supporting National Trails' window sticker to communicate your support to your customers
  • In autumn each year we’ll send you a free official National Trail calendar for the following year.

That’s a lot of benefits for only £40 per year including VAT.

(Accommodation providers who have already paid for a premium listing on the website will automatically be enrolled into the business membership scheme at no extra charge.)

How do I join the business membership scheme?

If you're not already signed in you'll be asked to enter your login details. 

If you can't remember your login details please contact us by email nationaltrails@walk.co.uk

If you have more than one property then contact us at ntbusiness@walk.co.uk

If you would rather pay by cheque you can post a cheque made payable to Walk Unlimited Ltd to us at 63 Delph Hill Road, Halifax, HX2 7EE. Include your business name and we'll do the rest.
