Filey is a traditional seaside resort bustling with colourful souvenir shops and fish and chip cafes. Head to Filey’s Tourist Information Centre on John Street to find out what’s happening in the town. Then take a stroll along the long sandy beach and promenade which offer a variety of family friendly activities.

Relive your childhood exploring rock pools or try your luck at Funland's Amusements - a true seaside style amusement arcade, situated on the charming Coble Landing.

Follow the coastline to reach the rocky promontory of Filey Brigg, heavily capped with glacial clays it’s a haven for both geologists and ornithologists. On the Brigg you will see a stone sculpture which marks the end of the Cleveland Way and Yorkshire Wolds Way National Trails.

Only ½ mile off the Cleveland Way is Filey Bird Garden & Animal Park where you can feed friendly animals, have fun on the adventure trail, learn amazing wildlife facts, or simply relax in beautiful gardens whilst watching exotic birds
