The Thames Path National Trail is a walk following the River Thames from its source in the Cotswolds through Oxford, Windsor and past the Houses of Parliament to the Thames Barrier in London

Flood Information

During winter months after heavy rain, and sometimes at other times of the year, some sections of the Thames Path, especially in the upper reaches, become flooded and unwalkable when the river over-spills its banks. For your own safety, please do not attempt to walk on the Path when it is flooded. 

To be sure of keeping your feet dry either:

Visit the Environment Agency's Flood Warnings or telephone its flood information number 0845 988 1188 (1,1,1,1)
