Cycling the South Downs Way isn't something which should be taken lightly, it's a challenge. But it's a challenge worth having a go at, whether you manage it in 10 days or 2 days, it is an exhilerating experience and one you will remember for a long time.
A great experience, I would reccommend it to everyone. - SDW Cyclist
The South Downs Way is open to Mountain Bikers for the full 100 miles from Eastbourne to Winchester. Please be aware that there are short sections where Footpath and Bridleway routes are seperate, cyclists must stick to the Bridleway.
