Facilities and additional information

Additional information

Waterfowl and woodland birds are the most obvious wildlife, but watch out for deer too. Excellent for dragonflies and, in June, orchids. The Black Hole Bog is a wonderful but bottomless wetland area - there is a boardwalk to enable you to see the area close up. Large parts of the nature trail are accessible to wheelchairs etc, see website for details. Excellent teas are served in the old mill, by the car park at the dam, on sunny weekends in spring and summer.
