Facilities and additional informationAdditional informationGood for seeing waterfowl of all kinds, breeding and wintering waders, etc - see website for details. The large expanse of mud and open water at the heart of the Reserve always has something of interest, but in winter look out too for the Arun valley "herd" of Berwick's swans over from Siberia. The reserve is fairly flat but there is no special provision for people with limited mobility. Parts can be very wet indeed underfoot, and the centre of the reserve floods in most winters.
