Nigel, Melvyn and Claire welcome you to the Royal Oak at the north end of Ditchling Common, near to Wivelsfield on the B2112 leading from Ditchling to Haywards Heath. This is a family run pub restaurant, free house, serving guest ales. We have a large beer garden suitable for adults and children alike. Having taken over the pub in June 2007 we are extending the menus with both traditional pub food and gourmet style meals, with sweets to die for. Our Tuesday and Thursday Pie N Pint nights at £5.50 have been a big hit and soon we will do special nights on Wednesdays, curry, Spanish, Italian etc. We hope to extend the restaurant area into a conservatory which would lead into landscaped gardens serving cream teas in the next year or two. There is a large car park and walkers are welcome to park here when partaking of refreshment at the pub.
