From the road crossing it is about 500 yards/metres to the railway station along a tarmac roadside path. Take care crossing the road. You can park infomally in High Tittern, the minor road up to the east of the B2139 between Amberley Station and the turning for Amberley village. Heading west it is 6 miles or 9.5km to Upwaltham on the A285 and 46 miles / 74km to Winchester. Heading east it is 6 miles / 9.5km to Washington car park on the A24, 54 miles / 86km to Eastbourne. This includes a mile or 1.5km for using the alternative SDW route via Washington village, over the A24 bridge (recommended, especially for horse riders).
