Bus 12/13/712 gives good access to Seven Sisters, Beachy Head, and Eastbourne every 15 minutes or so.  The Cuckmere Valley Rambler Bus runs on a circular route between Seaford, Alfriston, Drusillas, Berwick Station, Wilmington, and Seven Sisters Country Park hourly (Sats Easter to Sept only, Sundays all year, no weekday service).

Drinking Water Tap is located behind toilet block.

Additional information

The park has much to offer in the way of widlife; there are some areas of saltmarsh and a brackish lagoon that always have some waders and other wetland birds visible. The valley sides are chalk grassland with the usual flowers and butterflies. There is excellent rockpooling to be had on the beach. The site is famous for the classic meanders of the River Cuckmere, which seem to feature in every school geography textbook. Sadly they are now just stagnant lakes, cut off by Victorian drainage "improvements" which route the river down a straight cut channel instead. There are exciting plans to restore the natural floodplain and saltmarsh, however.

At low tide the beach is good for swimming with some sandy areas. However the part near the rivermouth can be dangerous with strong currents and sudden depth changes. Keep well to the left (eastern) side for safe bathing. All the facilities at the Park Centre are wheelchair accessible and there are several accessible paths.

Drinking Water Tap is located behind toilet block.
