Seven Sisters South Downs Walk
Description
The Sevens Sisters South Downs Walk is a Fire Services organised Challenge walk in the beautiful Eastbourne Downs. Although not a sponsored walk the organisers have no objection to the event being used by participants to raise money for a charity with a special plea to direct funds raised to the Fire Fighters Charity.
Open to everyone of good physical fitness there are three route distance options:
Seven Sisters South Downs Walk - 25 miles From Eastbourne up over the Downs via Jevington and Alfriston and Exceat finishing along the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head.
Halfhike - 15 miles Beginning at Bostal Gap car park and then following the 25 mile hike route
Seven Sisters Saunter - 8.5 miles Beginning at Exeat and then following the 25 mile hike route
All walkers will need to register beforehand using the form and arrive at Eastbourne University Campus on Denton Road, Eastbourne prior to the event at the times mentioned on the form. Transport will be provided to the official starts of the Halfhike and the Seven Sisters Saunter.
