Description
For over 40 years the Sussex Downsman Hike has been a team endurance race along the South Downs Way from Buriton to Eastbourne for Scouts and Guides. Organised mainly for the Scout and Guide groups in Sussex, the event is open to all groups in Great Britain.
Each team has to travel the full 80 miles in no more than 24 hours. Fully supported along the way with checkpoints, each team also requires an accompanying service crew vehicle.
