Each year the West Sussex Youth Service organises a large scale night navigation (orienteering) exercise for teams of experience young people from various youth organisations, including Scouts, Army Cadets, Air Training Corps, Youth Clubs etc.
The start and finish is at Seaford College, and the teams, of four members each will walk a course between the A285 and A29.
All checkpoints have been located away from residential accommodation and the teams will be given instructions to aviod residential areas and move quietly on their route. Qualified staff will be checking the teams to ensure they carry out these instructions.
