Description
This is a new and exciting challenge for experienced riders. Over 70miles/100km of chalky downland tracks and relentless punishing hills! Not for the faint hearted or novice cyclist but offering an exceptional and unique challenge to those experienced mountain bike riders looking for a new thrill.
We challenge you to leave Steyning in the evening, heading out along the South Downs Way into the setting sun. You will ride on as darkness falls until you reach the halfway point and turn at the Queen Elizabeth Country Park. Then you will push on and continue to chase the sun until it rises again in front of you as you return to Steyning to your well deserved sizzling bacon buttie and steaming cup of tea.
We will fully support you along the way with route maps, training guide, refreshments, mechanical support, first aid and marshals on course.
