A Ridgeway Forum is in place, with representatives from a number of user and interest groups, to advise and assist with management of the Trail. The following organisations are represented:

- Motoring Organisations’ Land Access and Recreation Association (LARA)
- Friends of The Ridgeway
- Chiltern Society
- Country Landowners’ Association (CLA) or National Farmers Union (NFU)
- Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE)
- The Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
- North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
- Oxfordshire County Council representing archaeological interests
