Getting to the Norfolk Coast Path
Trains run frequently between Cromer/Sheringham (both stations on the trail) and Norwich to serve the Norfolk Coast Path. From the west of the region regular trains between Cambridge and Kings Lynn link with both the Coasthopper and the X8 bus service. Through ticketing is now available from London Kings Cross via First Capital Connect (into King's Lynn) and onto the coast via Norfolk Green's Coasthopper bus service.
The X8 runs from Kings Lynn to Fakenham with a linking service to Wells. The X6 continues from Fakenham to Cromer.
This is a fantastic service operated by Norfolk Green. The route runs from King's Lynn to Hunstanton and then along the coast to Cromer. The bus now meets every train arriving at Kings Lynn station. It is the ideal service for Norfolk Coast Path walkers, use it to access the route and leave the car parked at home. Website
The Coasthopper bus service runs half hourly during the summer period and hourly the rest of the year.
