Certain lengths of the Peddars Way can be legally driven by motor vehicles. The Norfolk Coast Path is not open to motor vehicles.
The Peddars Way is suitable for small numbers of vehicles to a maximum of four in any convoy. Recreational 4 x 4 and trial bike use of the route is damaging the surface. We have closed a short section of the Peddars Way between the A148 and B1153. This short section of the route now has a TRO in place until April 2011 to enable the ploughing, shaping and re-seeding of the surface.
