A dramatic cliff face on Peddars Way and Norfolk Coast Path

A walk along the National Trail

26th July 2017

I walked the new section of the coast path from Winterton through to Trimmingham over the past two weeks and was struck again by just how many different landscapes the National Trail runs through.

The section from Winterton through to Waxham Gap was amazing to see six months after we launched this stretch of coastal access. The work we carried out to create the route has stood up will to the winter and is being used well be members of the public.

The signs look amazing through the dune system and allow a fantastic view of the coastline.

I met a couple who were walking along this stretch of coastline having completed the National Trail two years ago where it previously had ended at Cromer.

"We walked this as part of our honeymoon. Coming back and seeing how it has expanded is quite wonderful”

Why not come and explore the Norfolk Coast Path National Trail yourself!
