A dramatic cliff face on Peddars Way and Norfolk Coast Path

Lord Gardiner visits the coastal path on Great Yarmouth seafront

4th September 2017

On Friday 01st September I was priveliged to meet again with Lord Gardiner, who officially opened the new stretch of coast access from Sea Palling to Hopton last October, to discuss coastal access in Norfolk and the New England Coast Path.

We showed Lord Gardiner our new boardwalk that the trails team and our volunteers built in February this year which has created brand new access through Great Yarmouth’s picturesque dunes in North Denes which has proved a hit with those who would otherwise struggle to get on the beach.

The visit went really well and we had press from Anglia news and from the Eastern Daily Press cover the event.
