In a green space in the centre of the village.
There is a late-Saxon tower and impressive portion of a 13th c. Augustinian Priory. A copy of the Priory seal is displayed in the north (Victorian) aisle. The parish church chancel and nave are dated chiefly to the 13th and 14th c. The porch (as first envisaged) incorporated a wayfarers' chapel above and Both the porch and the tower were completed circa 150 with flushwork (flint and brick) decoration. 15th c. poppyheads can be seen on the left as you enter. There is a notable Jacobean pulpit. Fine 18th c. headstones can be seen near the churchyard path (south)
