Spend the morning exploring the historic and vibrant county town of Surrey - Guildford. There are attractions and activities to suit all. Visit Guildford Castle for a 360 degree panoramic view of Guildford and the beautiful surrounding countryside or take a boat trip on the River Wey.
Then head south to pick up the North Downs Way National Trail. On a clear day from the top of St. Martha's Hill you can see eight counties. Part of the 60 hectare site has a rare mixture of plant species and is designated a Site of Special Scientific interest. Local parishioners walk each Sunday to St Martha's Church at the top of the hill.
Take a short detour off the path to visit Shalford Mill an 18th-century timber-framed watermill on the picturesque Tillingbourne stream now run by the National Trust.
