Hadrian's Wall Country Bus AD122
The most relaxing and environmentally friendly way to travel around Hadrians Wall is on the National Award winning AD122 Hadrians Wall Country Bus which has been taking visitors to the Wall for over 30 years.
The service is due to run from 2nd April through to 31st October 2010. Timetables available now - click here.

Walking
The AD122 and associated services are ideal for people wishing to walk part or all of the Hadrians Wall Path or the other numerous walks available around Hadrians Wall Country; you can walk a section of the Path and take the bus back to your starting point. For detailed maps and guides to all these walks visit local Tourist Information Centres or call the Hadrian’s Wall Information Line on 01434 322002 or visit http://www.hadrians-wall.org/
Please note that there is some variation in services on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays, which are either shown in separate sections of the timetables or described in the footnotes to the timetables.
Your Guide to the Guides
Open Book Visitor Guides are on board selected services from Carlisle and Newcastle daily throughout the service season and are there to help you interpret 2000 years of frontier life and history. Guides also provide advice and information about specific sites and attractions as well as other visitor facilities and services within the area. See AD122 timetable for guided services.
Pedal Power by Bus
As well as the Hadrian’s Cycleway (National Cycle Network Route 72) which runs the length of the Hadrian's Wall World Heritage Site, there are a number of other day and half day cycle rides which are accessible via the Hadrians Wall Bus.
Some low floor buses have the capacity to carry a limited number of cycles or wheelchairs if booked in advance. Bookings can be made through the Hadrian’s Wall Information Line 01434 322002. It should be noted however that space is limited and priority will be given to wheelchair users.
