Puffing Billy Cottage is situated in the Tyne Riverside Country Park just 6 miles upriver from Newcastle’s vibrant centre. The south facing Victorian cottage has recently been refurbished and is well equipped and tastefully decorated throughout. The cottage sleeps three and has one king sized bed and one larger sized single bed with a cot also available on request. It is ideally situated right on Hadrian’s Way and the Sustrans National Cycle Way number 72 so is ideal for walking/hiking/ running/riding and cycling.
There are many attractions within close proximity including award winning pubs and micro breweries, a local Leisure and Activity Centre, George Stephenson’s cottage as well as abundant bird life.
