In March 2005 Close House was re -opened to the public after an extensive refurbishment and has since become one of the most sought after venues in the North East of England.
Close House offers everything you would expect from a venue with the superb Bewickes Restaurant, excellent conference, meeting and private dining facilities, luxurious accommodation and a challenging 18-hole golf course. We are also licensed to host civil wedding ceremonies and receptions.
