Situated 3.5 miles west of Chesters Roman Fort and 5 miles east of Housesteads Roman Fort.  Look for the large car park on the left as you travel from Chesters to Housesteads.  FREE entry to the site.

The Temple of Mithras is a 3rd century temple built to worship the roman god Mithras.
